My name is Jay "Bear" Cloyd, and I am a professional drummer from the United States, now relocating to Stuttgart, Germany. I'm looking to connect with local bands, touring acts, or recording projects that may need a seasoned drummer to fill in or collaborate with.
A bit about me: I am highly versatile across all genres, including rock, jazz, R&B, hip hop, modern country, and pop. I play by ear and can adapt to any beat—whether soft and subtle or powerful and driving. I prioritize good communication, punctuality, and consistency, and I take detailed notes during rehearsals to ensure every performance is seamless. I thrive on bringing energetic, engaging performances to every gig.
I will be arriving in Stuttgart at the end of September 2026, with my equipment arriving in early November. In the meantime, I am ready to perform using available drum gear until mine arrives.
