Hi,
I want to create a band with a vintage vibe and a strong groove (Loaded Honey, Jungle, Leisure, Tennis, Night Waves, Dr. Dog, The Shivas, Thee Sacred Souls, Tyler Ballgame, etc.) I would especially like to focus on strong musical compositions and blending it with art and fashion in videos, but would also like to play shows quarterly or as often as monthly once we have an audience. I am definitely open to collaborating and look forward to seeing what we come up with.
I play guitar, bass, some keys, and I sing. I was the lead singer and primary song writer in my last band and since moving to Berlin, I make music under the name Ghoul Party. I mainly write songs with a danceable beat but sardonic lyrics. I play all the instruments you'll hear except for the drums. https://ghoulparty.bandcamp.com/album/doomed
I'm looking for bass, drums and keys mainly but I would also be happy to hear from other producers who would like to collaborate or trade mix feedback. This doesn't have to be a band; it could actually be four bands where we each act as the supporting musicians for the solo project of each member of the group. I don't currently have a practice space but I am willing to get one and could practice once per week. Lastly, if relevant, I am just over 40.
