Guitarist wanting to play BASS!

Hey! I am Lorenzo, 26yo, been playing guitar for 10 or so years, and I want to start playing bass in some energetic band, ideally pop punk/emo or something harsher like hardcore punk/metalcore. I would play bass with a pick as that's what I've been doing for the past 10 years :) let me know!
