Musicians for new eclectic, genre mixing, alternative "Pop" Project

Hi there!

I'm Iason, a 33-year-old musician, producer, and songwriter. I play multiple instruments, but my strengths are guitar, Ableton Live, and songwriting/arranging. I also sing and write lyrics, and I have studio and live experience.

I'm looking for people to start a new project where we write and produce songs together and potentially play live at some point. I want to create unique pop music with an experimental edge and interesting production/sounds and fuse different genres like Indie, Funk, R&B, Lo-Fi house, Dub, Psychedelic, 90s Hip Hop, and L.A. beat scene vibes. To make it a bit more tangible, here are some of my all-time favorite artists: Jai Paul, LA Priest, Conan Mockasin, Manu Chao, Tame Impala, Caribou, Bob Marley, Ariel Pink, John Frusciante, J. Dilla, Prince, Clams Casino.

If you've got a nice rhythm with live drums or beats, or you're good at playing the keys and have an interesting approach to synths/samples, or you're a passionate singer/rapper and you like the same stuff I do, just hit me up! You're welcome to come to my studio that we can use to play, record & produce music 24/7.

I've got plenty of material to work with, or we can start from scratch. The only condition I have is to take it seriously with the ambition to make releases and eventually play live.
