Emo/Anti-Folk Band sucht Bassist*in

Wir sind ein Duo aus Berlin (Drums und Gitarre/Gesang, m, 30 & 43) und spielen eine Art Anti-Folk/Emo mit Ausflügen in verzerrte Gefilde – ein bisschen Sludge, ein Hauch Shoegaze. Die Texte stehen im Vordergrund (bisher auf Deutsch), thematisch ist das Ganze eher düster. Ab und zu wird auch geschrien, und zwar nicht unbedingt melodisch. Grundsätzlich: Ausdruck vor Perfektion.

Wir suchen eine*n Bassist*in. Geschlecht, Herkunft etc. sind egal – obwohl es schön wäre, wenn wir keine reine Männerband bleiben. FLINTA people welcome!

Songs sind bereits geschrieben und warten darauf, gemeinsam arrangiert zu werden. Geplant ist: live spielen, aufnehmen, die üblichen Bandsachen eben.

Hey! We're a Berlin-based duo (drums and guitar/vocals, m, 30 & 43) playing anti-folkish Emo with excursions into heavier, distorted territories (think a touch of sludge and shoegaze). Lyric-centered (German lyrics so far), thematically on the darker side. Occasional screaming – often not the melodic kind. Generally: Expression before perfection.
We’re looking for a kind, creative, and enthusiastic bassist. Gender and background don't matter – though it’d be nice _not_ to be an all-male band. FLINTA* folks warmly welcome!

We’ve got songs written and ready to be arranged collaboratively. The plan is to play live, record, and do all the usual band stuff with heart and intent.
