Musician is looking
Hey, ich bin Manu, 30, und habe mit ca. 15 Jahren angefangen, Gitarre zu spielen – leider bin ich viele Jahre gar nicht drangeblieben, habe das Hobby aber jetzt wieder für mich entdeckt, bin sehr motiviert und verbringe aktuell täglich mind. 1 bis 1,5h damit, wieder reinzufinden. Dabei suche ich ein wenig Unterstützung.
Wichtig ist mir:
- dass es musikalisch passt und du dich wohlfühlst bzw. bestenfalls gut auskennst mit der Musik, um die es mir geht – das ist der Großraum Emo/Shoegaze/Softgrunge/Post-Hardcore und alles angrenzende, denk an Bands wie Basement, Title Fight, Superheaven, La Dispute, Touche Amoré, L.S. Dunes, Manchester Orchestra, Fleshwater, Brutus, Pinkshift und nicht zuletzt My Chemical Romance
- dass wir uns neben dem Spielen auch mit Sound- und Hardwarethemen beschäftigen können. Ich habe einige Pedals und einen dicken Amp, aber noch wenig Ahnung und würde mich freuen, mit dir zu den richtigen Sounds zu finden
- ein großes Plus wäre, wenn wir auch gemeinsam Ideen zu Songs ausarbeiten können (siehe Punkt 1)
Hey, I’m Manu, 30, and I started playing guitar when I was about 15—unfortunately, I didn’t keep at it for many years, but I’ve rediscovered this hobby now. I’m really motivated and am currently spending at least 1 to 1.5 hours a day getting back into it. I’m looking for a little support with this.

What’s important to me:
- that we’re on the same page musically and that you feel comfortable—or, ideally, are well-versed in—the music I’m into—that’s the broader emo/shoegaze/soft grunge/post-hardcore scene and everything related to it, think of bands like Basement, Title Fight, Superheaven, La Dispute, Touche Amoré, L.S. Dunes, Manchester Orchestra, Fleshwater, Brutus, Pinkshift, and, last but not least, My Chemical Romance
- that, in addition to playing, we can also explore sound and hardware topics. I have a few pedals and a big amp, but I’m still pretty new to this and would love to work with you to find the right sounds
- It would be a big plus if we could also work out song ideas together (see point 1)
