Improvisation Ensemble/Jazz Band

I'm gathering musicians for an ensemble intent on improvisation/Jazz. Looking for people interested in exploring the outer edges of the musical cosmos in the style of: Pharoah Sanders, Sun Ra, Alice Coltrane, Art Ensemble of Chicago.

My motivation for starting this project is, first, I would really like to see if it's possible for a group of strangers to come together and create a space where we are comfortable and able to express musically our ideas and emotions individually and collectively.

I think that there is great potential for new ideas, compositions, inspirations can come out of music intent on improvisation. I'd like to work with multiple musicians intent on listening to each other and responding musically. Also, I have also spent a lot of time the last year in my home alone, quiet--and it is time to drastically change that, so let's get together and make some music.

Looking to start ASAP so please respond with: Instruments, experience, availability (Saturday or Sunday Afternoon or a week night), and a song you'd like to play with the group, and what you would like to get out of the group. Any/all instruments welcome.
